KG KARES

KG Kares
KG Kares is our community-driven initiative dedicated to giving back and supporting local youth and organizations throughout the year.
At Kawartha Gymnastics, we believe that sport should be inclusive, accessible, and connected to the broader community. Through KG Kares, we proudly support programs like the Kawartha Haliburton Children’s Foundation’s Santa Sleigh initiative and annual holiday drives for the Kawartha Food Share. We’re committed to ensuring that every child feels welcome within our walls—regardless of their background or circumstances.
As part of this mission, KG Kares also includes our Inclusion Funding Program, which helps remove financial and accessibility barriers for youth who may otherwise be unable to participate in our programming. This initiative reflects our deep belief in the power of sport to uplift, connect, and inspire.

Inclusion Funding Program
The KG Kares Inclusion Funding Program is part of our commitment to ensuring that all children have the opportunity to experience the benefits of gymnastics, regardless of financial circumstances or personal challenges.
This fund is designed to support youth who are facing financial barriers or who require additional accommodations to participate in our programming. Successful applicants will receive funding that covers the full cost of a recreational gymnastics session (ranging from 12 to 16 weeks).
Our next round of funding applications will be open from July 30 to August 16, 2026, and successful applicants will participate in classes from September to December. Two subsequent rounds will follow for January to March, and April to June.
All applications are reviewed by our KG Kares allocations committee, and support will be offered confidentially to selected families.
The following recreational classes beginning September 8, 2026, will be eligible for funding through our next application period. We kindly ask that you only apply if your child is available to attend one of the scheduled class times listed below:
Babynastics: Thursday 9:30-10:15am
Parent & Tot: Thursday 10:30-11:30am

Donation & Sponsorship Opportunities
We are actively seeking community support through sponsorships and donations to help grow our Inclusion Funding Program. A donation of $75 can help a child attend a full day camp, $350 a full week of summer camp, and $500 can provide an athlete the opportunity to participate in a full 12-16 week recreational gymnastics session.
Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps us support youth in our community. We are proud to recognize Health Futures as our 2025 Inclusion Funding Sponsor. Their generous support made it possible to launch this initiative and begin creating more opportunities for children to access gymnastics.
Additional sponsors include:
